ROV PILOT ENGINEER

RANDSTAND ROV EXPERTS

• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with the ROV control, navigational and propulsion systems.
• Assist in the Launch and Recovery of the ROV System.
• Ensuring that the ROV and all its systems are in complete working order and in compliance with all technical requirements throughout the contract period.
• Carrying out the dive in accordance with recognised operating procedures in order to carry out designated work safely and efficiently.
• Undertake navigation and observers duties and operating of manipulators and ancillary equipment fitted to the ROV.
• To be satisfied that prior to any dive the submersible that all pre dive checks have been completed.
• Check with the submersible technician on the status of the vehicle buoyancy, special fits or any limitations to the system.
• Carry out the dive in accordance with client's work scope and internal operational procedures to client and operations controller's satisfaction.
• Understands the sub-surface environment that the ROV operates in and any contingency procedures in place for the ROV.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
• 5 Full-Time positions available.

Diving Coordinator
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

• Proactively and effectively support the Operations and Asset Manager in planning and coordinating equipment and services
• Prepare and review diving equipment specifications required for each project in accordance with contract and legislative requirements.
• Review diving progress report from the vessels and evaluate information received and report on progress.
• Liaise with offshore diving superintends to ensure maintenance are being carried out on the diving system to required standards & the routines are accurate and suitable for the required task. Any HSE-QA / technical / operational issues are addressed and satisfactorily closed.
• Liaise with third party service providers such as surveyors and auditors and provide appropriate level of information for them to conduct the survey or audit.
• Liaise with suppliers/ vendors to ensure timely forwarding of critical spares, equipment and consumables.
• Ensure tracking reports / register of third party rental equipment including rental gas quads and cylinders is kept up to date.
• Actively participate in the development of project work procedures and planning and oversee the mobilization and demobilization of the major work vessels, equipment, material and personnel to and from the worksites.
• Participate in management facility visits (MFV) and site inspection visit (SIV) of onshore and offshore work sites.

Requirements:

• Minimum IMCA Approved Qualified Air Diving Supervisor or a minimum of ten years experience in the diving industry of which five years spent in a similar capacity
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Commercial Offshore Diving as associated to the offshore Oil and Gas Industry.
• Familiar with national, international, industry guidance and OGP recommended practices and guidance as well as Diving Equipment System Audits.
• Proficient in English with good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft office applications
